  1. What Financing options are available?

At all of our factory direct outlets and many of our factory authoized dealers, we offer 3 months same as cash on our Amish Sheds, 6 months same as cash on our Buckeye Basics and 12 months sames as cash on our Buckeye Buildings.  These are interest free and no monthly payments are required. At the bottom of each page there is a gold seal that reads, "Get Pre-Approved...".  Simply click on the gold seal, a new browser window will open with the American General web page and then click on "Apply Now".  You can get pre-approved from the comfort of your own home and then skip the application process once you go to one of our sales locations.

  2. What is the smallest and largest building you offer?

The smallest building is a 6x6 Amish Shed and the largest is a 20x32, two-story Hunter's Lodge.

  3. Do you sell pole buildings?

We do not sell pole buildings.

  4. Do you build custom buildings?

Yes and no. We can, and often do, highly customize a building design we already have. The main thing we take into consideration before taking a job is whether or not we can use one of our existing rafter designs.

  5. Can the sidewall height be increased on a building?

Yes. The sidewall height can be increased on any of our buildings, usually by one foot intervals.

  6. Can the door width and height be increased on a building?

Yes. Our standard door width is 31" per single door and 62" for double doors. Other common single door widths are 36" and 42". Our standard door height is 72". Depending on the height of the building, the door height can be increased to 78".

  7. If I purchase a shed from you, what am I responsible to have done before your arrival?

You are responsible for site preparation, unless Buckeye Barns has been contracted to prepare the site for you, and all zoning and building permits if they are required in your area.

  8. Does Buckeye Barns offer site preparation?

Buckeye Barns will install pole base foundations. For rectangular and octagonal gravel pads, we recommend Geiser Site Preps who services a large part of Ohio only. For more information, contact your local representative.

  9. I would like my storage barn to have vinyl siding to match my house, do you do that?

Buckeye Barns offers vinyl siding on all of our Buckeye Buildings. For a discounted price, Buckeye Barns will build your storage barn with CDX exterior plywood siding. This material is perfect for putting vinyl siding or any other material over.

  10. I would like to use my building as a garage. Do you have garage doors?

Yes. Buckeye Barns does sell and will install a metal roll up door. However, in most instances we recommend you allow us to frame the opening for the door and then have a local garage door company install the door. The main reason for this is that a reputable garage door company will offer guarantees and/or warranties for the door and service it if any repairs are necessary.

  11. Since I will be using my building as a garage, do I have to purchase the wooden floor?

No. Even though all of our floor systems are plenty strong to support the weight of a car, we can omit the floor and then adjust the price of the building accordingly. We can then construct and anchor any of our buildings to an already existing cement slab. If you are wanting to have a cement company poor a new cement slab, we can supply you with dimensions so the slab can be poored to the exact dimensions of the building.

  12. I would like to have the same shingles installed on my building that are on my house, can you do that?

Yes. We are willing to install shingles that are supplied by the customer. Please keep in mind that not all specialty shingles are able to be installed on gambrel shaped buildings (traditional barn shaped buildings) because of their rigidness, however can be installed on any gable shaped building.

  13. What is the difference between the Corn Toss game and other bean bag games?

The Corn Toss Game (a.k.a. Corn Hole) is huge in Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky (as well as other places)...there are annual tournaments and very strict rules for the dimensions of the boards and the fabric and weight of the bags. Our boards and bags meet all requirements of the official Corn Toss game!

  14. Should I use Sikkens brand stain?

We think so! Buckeye Barns has experimented for years with differenct brands of stains and sealers. We have gone as far as lining up a row of products and putting a different brand of stain on each item. After a full year of sun, rain and snow, there was no comparison, Sikkens brand stain held up the best!

  15. Why did another company change their name to Pioneer Gazebos when Buckeye Barns was already using that name to promote their gazebos?

We are the Original Pioneer Gazebos.
Please read this link and draw your own conclusions on that one. What we can tell you is Buckeye Barns has a good reputaion and has been in business since 1969.
